All men are innocent until proven guilty. If you are arrested and they conficate your house, then later you were found innocent by the courts. They release you and give you back your house. This is the law!!! This is human rights!!! Will it apply to Saddam Husseim? Will he be released and given back his country if found innocent in the courts? Will President Bush then be arrested for war crimes, for invading a country without cause. Remember the courts have said Husseim did no wrong!!! He was found innocent by his peers.

Sure that should be the protocol and a standdard uniform justice system (unless the trail is unfair). I think if Saddam is aquitted he can sue bush for huge damages which Bush wont be able to pay!

You could be right, but I doubt that Bush will ever be arrested and tried for War Crimes event hough he did invade a country without cause. As far as Saddam I really don't know I haven't been following what is going on with him. I do know that he is up against a lot of charges that are very real and that there are people who will testify agianst him. One can only hope.

He won't be found innocent. For that to happen, he would need an impartial panel of judges who have neutral feelings about him and who aren't influenced by the US Government. That isn't the case in Saddam's trial. The trial is a sham, the verdict and sentence already decided. If Saddam walks free, what's left of the US's credibility goes down the toilet and that won't be allowed to happen.

Great idea, when Saddam was president there was no civil war, or all the hate that is going on now. As for the President....well I think time will only tell.

Who in his right mind could possibly think Saddam is innocent after gassing thousands of Kurds? Justify that.

While logically it does seem like bush's administration as an unprovoked agressor should be held accountable for their actions, this would never happen. Honestly I doubt they'd ever even try Saddam, he'll probably die mysteriously before a real trial.

No, I don't believe so, but with the Dems taking back both Houses this Fall, Bush is in fear of Impeachment.

There is too much evidence NOT to convict Hussein. Bush is stopping terrorism. Why do you think Afghanistan is having problems again? We left too early!!!!!!!!!!
