I like your question alot, and the thoughts, memories and ideas your question has inspired.
In a grand scheme it seems we are nothing more then a grain of sand on a huge beach and are here for just a minute in time next to eternity.
then we realize that everything we think or discover has been thought before and when we think we are so alone there are many others who relate or experience the same things.
I think what makes a person extrordinary is when they have a passion, they give themselves to it and embrace it , add thier own
awareness and expression to what they love and live and take thier passion to a unique level if it's a creative endevour or if it's a discovery or invention then finding it and giving it to the world in a way that brings us farther then we were before and opening new ideas and possibilities.
Travel, Travel, Travel and learn language.
I spent 3 years in a third world country(Brasil) and it was probably one of the best things I could have ever done with my life.
I gained a whole new perspective on the world and America.
I learned to speak another language, spoken and unspoken
.
I made extremely nice friends.
I taught english, for an income.
(don't laugh)
I went back in time 100 years.
(so it seemed)when I traveled
the interior.
I came home with admiration
and deep respect for these people.
The experience changed my life and opened up
many possibilities for me.
visas are issued for up to 90 days, In my case
I disappeared into the interior and got lost and did my thing for a few years , I wouldn't recommend violating a visa though . In my case the risk and adventure was well worth the fine I had to pay.
I have a guardian angel that for some reason has chosen me to hang out with. For, no matter where I go or what I do I have extremely good luck and fortunate experiences.
What makes me special.......
I don't worry about much overall and this affords me very little stress in life
I dont create unrealistic expectations. as a result I am rarely disappointed.
I believe in my dreams so sometimes they do come true.
I am careful what I wish for in the event I get it.
I don't harbor hate, in fact I welcome diversity in people and the differences in there cultures.
I don't involve myself in religion
I am forgiving
I go out of my way to extend kindness without need of anything in return.
I am very spontanious and will do something on a whim or moments notice.
During emergancies I kick in to high gear and don't panic at all.
very resilient
A gift for turning negatives into positives.
I have no living family.even though this is an unusual type of lonliness, It gives me complete freedom along with the fact that I don't use credit cards, I have no mortage payments
owe no money to anyone and don't have kids and am happily divorced
and work freelance.
so, I am unique in the fact I am totally free
to do whatever I want to do each and every day.
I love what I do and don't have enough hours in a day, they go too quickly.
So, to sum up what I am saying is:
If you tap into something that you truly adore and are good at or could be good at with out accepting any interference and are able to
make this a part of what you do for a living.
Then I say you would be very special
and blessed.
by traveling you will open up so many possibilities, especially if when you travel
you venture away from the typical tourist itinerary. Once you marry and have children you will be bound to the responsibility that comes with it so holding off on that part of life
is to your advantage if you are able, once we fall in love we are liable to do anything in order to stay with the person hence, settle down.
Discovering who you are and creating a lifestyle that brings out the best in you
and whereyou love getting up everyday and can't get enough of is what it's all about.
It's being true to yourself.
I wish you good health, happiness and excitment
on your journey and hope you find what you are looking for. Sometimes we travel full circle to find we had it all along

Few of us are actually special or much different from eachother. We all generally want about the same stuff and feel about the same things. The INCREDIBLE WONDER is that we feel our own identies...we have our own perspective and no one else can possibly know what we think at any given moment. We are all 100% unique and pondering this uniqueness is sometimes inspiring and frightening. this feeling of perspective also makes us feel lonely. We are biological machines but yet we have a feeling of existance. This is pretty damn cool and unfathomable at the same time.
You are not unimportant. For all you know, you or your kids or someone you effect might change the world dramatically. Maybe even something trivial you do or have done will cause a chain of events that is absolutly critical to the survival of the entire Earth...or maybe the opposite. We cannot see the whole picture from our individual perspective. You are important...me too...especially to ourselves and probably our loved ones.
Yeah, having kids is way fun. Traveling is lots of fun too...it certainly helps to speak a different language or three when traveling although you already have the lingua franca; English.
Life is a fantastic trip/gift/journey/experience. Live it as much as you can...get a turtle. Fly a plane. Go to Tahiti and crew on a private yacht as you see the South Pacific for free. Teach kindergarden. Shave off your hair on half of your head. donate your time to talk to old folks in hospitals or old age "homes". Go to the Maldives. Try performance art on the street whether you have talent or not...make an *** out of yourself. Become a real expert in some field. Buy a trampoline. Try to set a Gunnisses record. Sex...oooo lots of possibilities there! Talk to the next person you see. Make a nice meal for your neighbor you never met or maybe one you have. Hang out at a unversity and audit classes. Take lots of pictures and have them enlarged to hang on your wall. Get rose colored glasses and wear them all the time...even better if you don't need glasses. Paint a picture even if you suck as an artist...then hang it. Learn to play a musical instrument...I suggest piano. Make a list of things you have never done and try to do a few of them every year.

Were all special in our own little ways. Never feel unimportant. Were all here for a reason. I believe in Karma. What comes around goes around. Always start your day out with a smile no matter how bad you feel. People respond to a happy person. I have no drama in my life because I don't let things get to me. Be yourself and respect others feelings. These are the things I believe make me special.

Every one in this world has been given some unique quality by god which he must utilise to the fullest to succeed. To find that quality write down on a piece of paper what you like doing the best.Do not feel ashamed even if it is something absurd also because you may feel it to be absurd but you will excell in it.Every thing is inside you and you have to get it out.Persue what you like the best and then sky is the limit

I like all people except, HATERS and RACISTS. I like to find out about peoples' cultures so that I can better understand their way of life and appreciate them.
If you look up under immigration and politics you would see a lot of uneducated haters. People who are gullible and believe all the garbage on TV and all the propaganda stuffed down their throat.
Quite recently the hot topic has been 'Immigration' and all the uneducated imbeciles are out picking on Mexicans and Hispanics. It is a blatant reflection of their inner-self. When someone don't know anything about someone's struggles and their cultural way of life how qualified are their assumptions and stereotypes???
I like to travel and meet people. I have white, Asian, black and latino relatives and everyone gets along remarkably well with admiration and respect for each other. So for HATERS and RACISTS...it is a comfort to know they are a meaningless minority!
Coming back to your core question...I think I'm special because I have lots of friends and they like hanging out with me and my family because I'm a happy-go-lucky kind of guy with a determined mind-set. I like making people laugh because I have a good sense of humor and I also like to help out with good advise and physically when I could! I am responsible and enjoy doing work around my house and taking off on family trips.
Sometimes when I have no vacation time I just take non-paid days off because I think family is way more important than anything else. As long as God gives me the strength and will to carry on I could always find meaningful work so that's never an issue.

No, you ARE important! you just have to embrace your differences..that's what people aren't doing which leads to feeling not special. you don't have to be the best at everything even. are you passionate about your work atleast? at the gym, do you mix up your routine? i could go on forver, but you just have to do little things that can make your life a whole lot interesting

it would take too long to esplain, but ill try ,i had four kids by the age of 23,spent 12 years being battered by my now long gone ex,traveled the country going from one battered wives home to the next ,to later find out the ex had been sexually molesting my daughter, then i find out his mate had touched another of my girls ,i reported it all ,we then had to go under police protection for 18 months ,my own mother wasnt even allowed to know where we were ,we had to have our identities changed ,the kids were dragged from one home to another and one school to another,we where eventually given a house ,we had nothing to go in it as our last house that had been left empy for so long was burgled ,so we had to scrape by,and slowly we got our new home in order ,it was all a long fight we had to cope with solicitors and socail services and news papers, but some how swe pulled through,,,im now remarried ,the kids have all settled ,and have kids of their own ,and we have never been more happy ,for a long time before all the kids where housed we had 13 people living in this house ,but we managed, some how,,,and people who know me cannot see how i still smile,as we have all gone though hell and back,,,but life is for living no matter how you have to live it ,you still have each other ,,thats how we all coped,,,its love and determination that holds it all together,,,,so am i unique enough,,lol,?.

I think I am unique because of the combination of all the experiences I have ever had...that has added up to me being me, the influence of my friends...no one has ever known all the exact same people and had all the exact same experiences in exactly the same order...I think that is what makes you...you.
