I Guess it's a personal choice..I wouldn't want to wear it and I never have...but some like it and as long as they do, well animals will keep dying so J.LO and other celebs can wear them.

If you find fur distasteful, don't wear it. "Owned by another creature"? Oh please. Rabbits are raised for their meat. The fur can be made into many things, full coats if you like, and gloves.
And guess what? Even God agrees with that. Gen 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
You want to go so far as to say God is wrong?

I personally am not enthused about even wearing cotton. I think a lot of cotton plants have their baby cotton taken from them and are then cut down before the cotton is even born. The machines that plow them under are very loud so no one can hear the shrieks of the cotton family. When you wear cotton clothing you are wearing plant carcasses. Is that any better than wearing animal carcasses?
Now that winter is approaching here I think wearing only your own skin covered with goose pimples is not very sexy.

Fur is great!
To go along with Albannach, don't use pharmaceuticals (animal testing), don't get medical treatment (animal testing again), don't get blood transfusions (...again), don't use beauty and/or styling products (I wouldn't want to use something that hasn't been proven safe for topical use), and don't eat jell-o.
You might as well stop eating veggies and fruits too since you are taking away the food supply of other animals!
PETA is a terrorist organization...

I don't find fur distasteful. It can look beautiful. What makes it undesirable is how that fur is obtained, how much torture an animal has gone through for that fur to reach us.

What do you wear in the winter to keep warm? Some people may like the look or feel of fur. It may keep them very warm.

ugh... i hate fur coats and everything... i mean humans are basically killing poor little animals for the fur... how would we like it if animals came and started skinning us and then wearing our skin because they thought it looked cool...

I think fur looks lovely on my cat!
As for humans... yeah, I tend to agree. Fur does nothing for me. And since you mention it, skin can be rather attractive too :-)

OK. Get rid of your leather shoes, leather boots, leather belts, leather designer purses, don't eat bread (milk from animals), don't eat eggs, get rid of all your woolen clothing, don't wear a sheepskin lined coat, the leather miniskirts, the leather pants, leather vests, predicate your purchase of a car on whether it has leather seats or not,.....need I go on?
