most of the vessels in which we are cooking are circular cross sectioned. Is it because of free cleaning and free mixing while cooking.

Easier to manufacture for one (probably the most important as manufacturers will take the path of least resistance)

But, they will heat more evenly, so it cooks the food easier too.

Clean up is easier too, as corners are hard to clean.

I have square and rectangular 'cooking vessels' in my kitchen now. Examples include loaf pans and cookie sheets. Your premise is wrong, not all cooking vessels have a circular cross section. Why is therefore meaningless.

In addition, heat is distributed evenly from the central flame over the circular shape.

It is also easier to press metal into a cylinder than a square.

Round vessels distribute heat more evenly than any other shape and a stronger than square or rectangular pots.

That is something that I have never thought you - you are so smart! I am not sure = it is easier to clean the corners in a circular - than in a square!@
