Who or what would you want to be? A knight, princess, a man of Camelot, sorcerer, famous king, or any specific person....Any time period, any country, anything you want.

What I'd like to be is a sorcerer/wizard type. They study and read a lot, live in seclusion and are only bothered by people who are desperate for their products (and pay through the nose for them too). My best friend would be a dragon of some sort and we would once in a while take a break from studying, gallumphing off to some place to collect the rare plants and other ingredients needed for my spells.
What I'd probably wind up being (if I really was back in those times) would be some unknown peasant in some far off kingdom, doing nothing but watching the dust pile up in the house, and feeding my chickens.
