We split up 2 months ago, we have a son and she's living back at her mum and dads. Is there anything that will soften her up? Or should I wait for her to come back?

Can I do something outrageous that will make her come running or is the best thing is to leave it.

It didn't work for vincent van gogh and it won't work for you. The "I'll show her how much I lover her" tactics just don't work. And it's a shame too, because if all it took was a boom box and a great pop song -- we'd be set.

The question I have is: what is the problem? Why'd she leave?

I believe that we give up too quickly and don't fight to save our marriages. It's a common theme in movies even (Why did you leave me? Why didn't you come after me? I didn't know you wanted me to.)

A couple has to explore every option to make it work, especially for the children.

Swallow some pride and try counseling.
Take a workshop in how to argue fairly.
Be honest about where you want to go in your relationship

I dunno, I just made those things up -- but just waiting for something to happen won't get it done.

Luck to ya, bud.

IF she came back, it would be of her own accord. There is nothing you can do to change her mind about you other than (if it's your personality that split the two of you up) try to become a better person. I believe by ex you mean ex-girlfriend? In that case yes, the best thing to do is to leave it. There is nothing that can be done, no matter how outrageous. Be caring towards her and her family at all times, be the best you can possibly be. Take a look at how the relationship went and try to figure out why you really broke up. Let her see that you're trying. That's really the only way to get her to consider changing her mind.

Go to her! Simple as that...(5 me to say lol.) ok if u care and all that other mushy stuff, show it. Do something daring. Something u never said or done before. Just get out there and prove to her that you really do care, Because girls are simply hopeless romantics...No matter what u do, remember its the thought that cxounts...so do sum comciderable thinking...

you can soften her up with a meat mallet. that would be outrageous, and she'd definately be running. just be sure to chain her up first.

Look at what really caused the breakup, Did you cheat on her? Or did she just get bored with you...Fix the problem and then maybe get back with her...but at least get a few hook ups under your belt
