Go to any of the stores that specialize in seasonal decorations. In our town, the best one is Big Lots! (Odd Lots in some towns). There you will find an assortment of decorations, ranging from the funny to the supernatural. If you like the fall types, you will find scarecrows and if you like the goblins, you will find ghosts and monsters. Don't forget the "spider webs." They always look awesome on the trees and scrubs. A carved pumpkin on a kitchen stool hidden in the scrubs is a lot of fun, too. I did that when my children were little.

Lawn jockey, pink flamingo, garden gnome, frog, hey--you ever seen those cutouts where it looks like a lady is bending over in the yard?

A pink flamingo is the most classic, followed closely by the garden gnome.

Pink Flamingo, NOME, purple gazzing ball thing, Bust of Elvis, go to the garden center or Walmart king of cheesy decorations and have a look around.

What about the Hosey Cow? You know, the cow that has its tail attached to a garden hose? Great lawn ornament, and just like having a cow urinate on your kids!

The pink flamingo has to be the oldest, most tackiest. How about the jockey guy that holds the lantern?
