I have picked a "best answer" for a few of my questions & Yahoo! says I never did. Also there was a very disturbing question posted by a man who said he wanted to kill his wife in a painful way & not get caught. How does that make it on here & why is it not traced? This is serious!!!

Out of the thousands of questions on here, which do you suggest they trace. I have seen many questions such as what you are referring. Sometimes, they are a first time user--but sometimes you can go look at their profile and look at their other questions and realize it is totally a fake question. All of these questions cannot be taken seriously or yahoo would have to hire lots of people to trace all of these people down (which, I think would be impossible)
As to your other question. It seems that they did answer it. They said that you did not pick a "best answer" This is their site, so what can we do about it. Nothing, I guess. So sorry. Be happy.

sometimes yahoo have some technical errors. but as for that wife thing maybe because the owner of yahoo isn't around. yahoo is just a program created by a single person. or maybe yahoo had tried to trace it but wasn't able to get the excat location. and you better report it also

There're few thousand questions a day at Yahoo Answer.
Do not take each one of them seriously. Most of them are
fake. Answer those you think are "fun" & like "real". You can always use the "report abuse" facility. Hope this help.

Most of the questions on here are fake, or are trying to make people flip out- i say ignore them. Ther eis nothing you can do about it. As far as your points, contact the adminstrator or something.

There are glitches in any free service...just keep after it. I think the "best answer" feature is working ok. From time to time there are "hiccups" in the software.

Yes I agree, there are some horrible questions asked, even about child abuse and they get through, then someone asks what is your name and the question is removed, so I wonder!!
