okay my last period was augut 22. it wasn't heavy as usual it ws light and ended 2 days early. i usually last 7 days this time it was only 5. this has never happened to me before. the only signs i have are tired more and nausea(sometimes) and fatigue. i've never been on birth control and i haven't been stressing about anything. me and my hubby are TTC. should i take a HPT now or wait til the 22??? Thank you.

my period before that was july 13th. the august 22 one was so abnormal

If your period was on August 22nd then the test probably wouldnt show anything. I would wait until a couple days before the 22nd of September so it can be more accurate.

You could take the test, if it's positive, then great! However, it sounds to me the 8/22 period is a normal period, so in that case, a negative test would mean nothing, it'd be too early for the test to show positive. If it's negative you'd wait 'til the 22 to take it again.

Wait til your next one is due and if it doesn't arrive go to see your doctor. Hormones often make them a few days late or lighter than usual.

Well its really up to you. i would take one now then if i didn't start my period this month i would take another one. tests are most accurate 7 days after a missed period. that's when doctors recommend tests.

wait you had a normal period last month you arent due yet.wait til your period is late then test. you could be though. its not uncommon for a period to be shorter and lghter it happens as you get older and closer to the menopause.

If you think you might be pregnant, you should go to your doctor and have him do a test or go to your local drug store and buy a home test. They are very accurate these days and there is no reason to wait.
