I cannot speak for other people, but I sometimes do. I make an effort not too because sometimes first impressions are wrong. If I like what I see, and your avatar is great, then I try to find out more. I try to keep an open mind. I've learned an old American Indian saying and try to live by it. "Walk many miles in my moccasins before you think you know me". How do I get added to your friends list in Myspace?

Just in the very beginning....but then when I get to know the rest, I judge that more harshly than the cover. The rest is what decides if I want to be around them or not.

Ihave yes, but I was brought up that way. It took me 26 years to realize it was wrong and work very hard at it everyday to not be that way. I try for the simple reason that 1.) I don't want people judging me by my looks
2.) We'll all be judged when we die; I don't need to worry about it.

The cover is the first thing you see. First impressions are hard to avoid. I like the cover on your book

No, I would say one might take a first impression from an appearence, But you can't really judge a book until you get inside it

I think that everyone does. We make judgements subconsciously all the time, what to wear, what to eat without really really thinking about it, just the same about the way a person looks, acts....etc.

Occasionally. I wouldn't judge YOU by this particular avatar pic, tho.(because I've seen your Q&A's...Very good usually!) Is it you this time? Hard to tell.Plus, what do the stickers say?

If I were looking you in the eye, I would not be thinking about any stinkin' book. I think I love you.

Yes, we all do. If we haven't read the book or a review of it, what else do we have to go on?
