What a relief! If they had not launched on that last day, there would have been at least a 2 week to 4-5 week delay while a Soyuz was docked with the ISS. This is a big help for staying close to schedule which means not spending extra money, and NASA is under enough financial pressure as it is.

STS-115: Atlantis. The lift-ff was beautiful. I watched it life on NASA TV. You can view it at www.nasa.gov. It was the first time seeing a Space Shuttle lauching off. Well, after delaying for how many times? Around 3 or 4 times right? It was cool. Everything is working out fine... The three engines are working out fine too. It would be a successful mission. I have confidence in them. Haha.

It's good that everything is going well. I pray that this is a successful mission and all the men and women make it safely back home to their families!

Nice to hear that they're doing well... and making progress. Best thing is that they have a woman doing a space walk. Nothing better than that!
