How about in dives, do you blend in will with your surroundings?

No way! Give me an old pub any day, where I can wear jeans and a t-shirt and swear like a sailor! I can blend pretty well with people, but not surroundings.

I never feel as comfortable in an upscale place as I do in my favorite dives. It is true there that everyone knows your name (for better or worse, lol)

I like upscale places because I enjoy poking fun at the facade everyone tries to lead. I prefer dives. I like real, down to earth people who aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and shoot a couple games of pool. It's a lot more fun than wearing head to toe black, sitting in some stuffy lounge, drinking martinis, listening to someone talk about themselves incessantly.

I have never been to an upscale restaurant. I dont have money for that. I dont go into dives either. I am middle class so I try to go to nice restaurants that I can afford.

Yes, I grew up around country clubs and upscale establishments. However, I've been all around in my adult life. I don't like dives, though. Class is much better.

I always feel so out of place in upscale establishments, like I don't belong, and everybody is snickering at me behind my back. It's probably my table manners. I don't feel right in dives, either because I just don't feel safe.

Is this in opposed to rundown bongs?.....sorry....something about this question hit me as funny.....but to answer the real question....I try to blend in, but if atart to feel uncomfortable...I leave. I hate it when someone tries to make me feel as if they are better.

Oh yes, I do.....but I like to mix it up when I'm there....get people laughing, bring 'em down a few pegs....too much fun!
Dives?....Nah....I prefer people with teeth.

I can feel comfortable anywhere if dressed appropriately. ( daisy dukes and a cut off)
