I'm not sure what you mean by pointless questions.
I hate pointless answers, by which I mean answers that do not address the question. Like, for instance:
Question: "What is your favourite character in TV series Lost?"
Answer: "I do not watch TV, it is a waste time"
When that sort of thing happens my mind goes: "fine, but how does that answer the question?"

I do, but at least in this category, this is pretty much the first pointless question I've seen.
I'm assuming tha you put this question in the "adolescent" category because it adequately describes the question, right? Perhaps you should have put it in the "Toddler" category.
