Have we been to the moon? Seriously check it out there are some intresting points to the question. One would be what evidence do we truly have? Don't tell me "moon" rocks as those same rocks are under the ice in Antartica, where NASA scientist were like a few years or months or something before the moon landing. Another question is that a NASA scientist said that we don't have the ability to send a manned mission to the moon. Odd we did it before, didn't we? You mean NASA is falling back instead of advancing? In that case we need to close it down.
If we really went there then the reason we don't go back is lack of intrest. Nothing to prove by going to the moon. We would have to establish a colony there or something to make it worth the trip, and we aren't to that point.

The reason to go the the moon was to try and find the origin and age. This was done by collecting rocks and leaving behind scientific equipment that could be monitored from Earth. What knew knowledge can be discovered from a return visit to the moon that would be worth the price tag of the trip. There has not been an answer to the question. Just going for the sake of going is not good enough.

Well, we made about 7 trips from apollo 11 to 17 or 18 was the last one. After that the public lost interest, there was no really interesting science being done and people decided the money could be spent elsewhere.
