Trust, stability, physical attributes that meet my liking and the mind of a man. Probably, mentally, physically, emotionally, sexually and psychologically!

I like a man to have a big penis. He should have nice lips and clean teeth. He should have clean hands and trimmed nails. He should look as if he cares for his body. I would like him to have a nice butt. I would prefer him not to be very hairy.
I would like him to have good taste, but also be able to drop it and go completely tacky. I would like him to be very understanding and empathic. He should be able to cry in movies. He should be physically competent, but not a sports freak. It would be nice if he liked sailing and swimming. He should enjoy good food and wine, and be knowledgeable but not expert. He should like art and take an interest in culture, but again not to the point of obsession. It would be nice if he was reasonably prosperous. He will not be an obsessive gambler and he will be able to maintain a conversation and be courteous with all kinds of people, even those he dislikes.
He may be a little taller than me or smaller.
But most important of all I would have to fall in love with him and the sex would have to be great.

Well, I prefer my man to be around my age 30-45, smaller than me, I'm 5'11", 230Lbs solid (used to box), also a man who is unafraid to be gay, that is to say, if we're out on the town he wouldn't be afraid to show some mild affection ie: hold hands, be close. Also not too feminine (no judgement just not my thing) and most definitely has to have a brain, looks are good, but if upstairs is empty..........oh well, I admit it, a dumb F**K is sometimes fun too.

Some one that I can have an emotional connection to.
I used to be only attracted to big beefy men with hairy chest and thick muscles but my soul mate is not anything like that. He is skinny and almost hairless on his chest and arms. He has a little muscle but mostly skinny. Not my physical type at all. I am not his either, he like me always gravitated toward guys built like him. But once that emotional spiritual connection has been made then just thinking of that person turns you on immensely. I get wet with pre*** just thinking of him. (sorry TMI I know)
You need to just be on the look out for the kind of person that can relate to you on an emotional and spiritual level. Beyond that it is all gravy. Physical is not important as long as you have that spiritual connection.

I'm bi so ummmm....... I sort of look for the same thing, great personality, sense of humor, kind, goal oriented, educated, faithful, understanding, likes giving head, and a hot bod wouldn't hurt! So that's what I look for in both m/f. but in females alone the only diff would be someone who is femme and likes to shop and is girlie girl like me and a big butt!

Haha... interesting question. Well, I'm a bi guy - so you're asking my preference in guys. Well, I'll have to say that I'm attracted to slightly older guys (I always liked to be the younger one). It doesn't matter how old he is, as long as he's mature enough to deal with me - and has a personality that can really win my heart.
When it comes to looks, I'm definitely looking for a guy who's as tall as me (a little taller is fine with me - I'm 5'11"), has dark hair, stubbles and blue eyes. That's as far as it goes. He can be well built, lean or chubby, hairy or not - but I am only interested in a guy who can carry himself, intelligently, and charmingly. As I've said, personality is all I desire in a guy.
He's definitely got to love spending time together - coz' I'm a really clingy dude. Cuddling, hugging or just hanging out. As it is now, I can't even imagine a day not speaking to my boyfriend - it'll drive me nuts. He's in his 40s and I'm in my 20s, so you can see that age gap - but I'm not really bothered. As long as he loves me and loves spending time with me, making each other laugh - I'm pretty happy.
I look for character, not looks.

I'm a gay woman and I look for a number of things in a woman. I have to be able to trust them, so I would look for someone who tends not to lie. On a looks level, she would have dark hair and preferably blue, or possibly dark brown eyes. Size 12+ only really. And someone who could make me laugh would also be good.

As far as looks. I like shorter men 5'5" up to 5'7", IM 6' 1" myself. I like all men of all body types, Thin , Built, Average, and a few extra pounds. I like a decent sized penis and a cute lil booty. I like clean, humorous, intelligent men. But I like a man with a little street smarts or thug in him too. Just a bit.

From one of my earlier answers to a similar question:
Steadfast and strong, yet gentle and giving, solid and dependable, with childlike qualities in a pragmatic shell, an impish wit, a curious mind and a high level of emotional awareness.
That's the CLEAN version ;)

I look for the same qualities in a potential partner no matter what their gender is.
Intelligence, kindness, a sense of humour and loyalty are the most important things I look for.
