Because I don't believe in the concept of monarchy. No one should be born into a position of authority, it has to be earned. Our country's belief that one person can be born better than another still depresses me.
As for this royal family inspecific, they're just vile, aren't they? Phillip is a hideous racist, Charles is such an out of touch, snobbish old fool and Harry asopires to Nazism - what more needs to be said?
Apparently the royal family costs each UK taxpayer 50p a year. There's so much more I'd rather do with my 50p, thank you.

Because I visited the White house and Buckingham palace in the same year! The white house is a little shoe box in comparison. If you are a royalist visit the homeless people under Waterloo bridge then pop over to the palace!
It out does EVERY stately home you have ever seen and is so opulent it makes you gasp at the splendour.
Other than that I think they do a job I would hate! Lack of privacy! What a nightmare. I would quite fancy a maid and a nanny but as for the rest except maybe a corgi and state secrets forget it!

They were worse than Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin and Pol Pot combined. Over the centuries they slaughter and enslaved the populations of Europe. The Royal Family are the remnants of the most despotic and despicable regime ever devised. People believe in the fairy tales instead of the truth. If, as they claim, hereditary is everything their ancestry is nothing whatsoever to be proud of in fact it should be a cause of revulsion. People should read their history and realise what vile, evil and murderous people the Royal Family's ancestors were.

i dont particularly dislike any of the royal family.....i dislike the institution.
i dislike the idea of any system that includes giving preference to a person simply because of an accident of birth.

I do like the Royal family, because I'm patriotic and love my country.

1-Waste of countries money....fed up funding their holidays and private jets when i work lots of hours and can barely afford a wkend in Blackpool!

Same reason I don't like leeches, hypocrites, in-breds, chin-less wonders, people who visit hurt or death on any other creature, militarists, lazy-i shall-sponge -off -the-real-backbone- of -the-country-types etc., etc., ad infinitum.( That said I'd still give Prince Harry one!! )
