Since Scorpio is 'ruled' by Pluto, and Pluto is now no longer 'a planet', I just wanted to know if other Scorpians are encountering problems? Since 'the demotion', an uncanny amount of bad luck has occured in my life. Is this just coincidence, or are other Scorpians finding this too?

Well I'm scorpian and I have never had good luck. So bad luck is just in my nature. I'm kinda hoping that now that Pluto is "no longer a planet" my luck will change to good. I think you can relax. I agree, pluto hasn't changed so I'm sure things will get better for you. Hang in there!!!

I bet it's not even a coincidence. More likely you just expected things to go worse, so your memory highlighted the bad things that happened.
Besides, how would astrology (if it even worked at all, which it doesn't) be affected by our demotion of Pluto? Pluto is still the same size and orbits in the same way. Surely whatever mystical force affecting you astrologically wouldn't be changed just by some astronomers agreeing that Pluto shouldn't be called a planet? Well, if we decided to call gravity something else, would that make it disappear? It's pretty much the same idea.

no it is not a coincidence,it is same with me.istudy very hard but never get good results and everyone in my family is after my life.i specifically don't no about pluto but i wish i could be more lucky.

i dont think planetary anything has that much of an influence, as mush as making the right choices in life/ using common sense and intelligence and keeping grounded does==everybody goes through low periods or bad-luck phases
