I never understood what that meant. A couple hates each other, fights all the time and stay together because of the kids? What does that mean? Do people really believe that children can't tell when their parents aren't getting along?

Just because a couple divorces that doesn't mean that they no longer love the kids...and I'm pretty sure some of the kids will be happy that one parent left because that meant the arguments and fights would finally stop.

Pretending to be happy because of the kids is living a lie, meaning you lying to your kids, which is wrong so there's no point to do it..

WELL!!! got that off my chest!

Probably wouldn't change much. The same people right now are probably waiting until the kids are older.

So much more higher!
I'd say 80% of divorces would be due to that.
