It's an eye movement disorder. Its caused by anything that affects the eye muscle -- inflammation, scarring, trauma, etc.

Browns-Sequards's syndrome is the splitting of the spinal cord with paralysis of the side where the lesion is located, and on the opposite side, there may be loss of pain and temperature sensitivity.
