It's a comedy centered on life around a gold course. An obstinant judge runs the Bushwood Country Club and he protests against Rodney Dangerfield's character, a condo developer, from even being allowed on the golf course. Chevy Chase plays a well-to-do man of leisure who plays an excellent game of golf and his involvement in a film always adds laughs. Bill Murray is the inbred groundskeeper assistant who is at constant odds with a gopher, from the start of the show. The show ends with a somewhat illegal golf contest between the judge and Rodney Dangerfield's character and and on the last hole of this big money game, Bill Murray catches his prey. A classic film that I still laugh at when I hear Kenny Loggins sing that song the movie made so famous: "I'm alright"

It's about having fun for the cast and crew and it's about having a laugh for the viewers... I think it's a good funny film... Not the best... But i think that's why it was made... To fill a gap and make people laugh.

its about the goings on at a posh golf club. all the members are rich snobs and the staff are all poor folk, the main character is danny who will do anything to earn money to go to college
