Nope. People just want something to cry about and some want to use the race card.

I am a HUGE survivor fan- love the show. The initial division by race is not offensive to me in any way. I know they will mix it up later and you can already see the breaking down and pitting against each other in a couple of the tribes, same etniticities. It is not a matter of what race you are when you are out there, it is a matter of who can survive, who can do their part and how well you can get along with others.
I noticed that a couple of the tribes were a little more of the "represent" for their race, which I think is silly...it is a matter of survival, I think only one tribe didn't really say anything about it. I think the people watching or that don't really watch the show are the ones making the big deal out of nothing. I think it will be a great season!

Autumn is appropriate. The early years of huge Brother -- while that they had many times used people on there of each age/races/physique varieties/and so on. -- have been watchable. throughout one season, 9-11 handed off at an identical time as some have been left interior the abode. It went downhill after that. Now the teach has a collection of people the two shirtless or in bikini tops tanning and lifting all day and the IQs of frogs. Survivor has had some characters and that i think of the teach does rely somewhat extra on street smarts than the different ones, so i visit vote for that. the astonishing Race by no skill appeared that "staggering" to me.

Yes, I am a fan and have watched them all. Rupert was the best contestant in my opinion!
I am not offended by the race issue, just as I was not about the division by sex the last season. Hopefully Fox will treat the issue with respect and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the world responds. If each race is represented honestly and without bias or stereotypical interpretation on the part of the network, then I am okay with it.
We must remember that ONE person wins all, not one TEAM. May the best PERSON win...that is ultimately what it is all about in the end.

No, I am not offended at all. Clearly this is a cheap ploy to bolster Survivor's sagging ratings. God knows I haven't tuned in since cycle 3 but I will now. I do believe this will be an interesting social experiment. When you take away people's ability to properly feed and shelter themselves and manipulate them with twisted "games" claws will come out. This season has the potential to quickly degenerate - don't kid yourself, racism is alive and well.
On a related note, how long will it take before the a contestant drops the n-bomb? LOL

I"m also a huge survivor fan since day 1. The race game seems kind of silly to me,I wish they'd just leave it as is because why fix it if it ain't broken? (as the saying goes) I'm sure they'll merge soon enough and race won't be an issue anymore.

i am a huge fan of survivor! i am not offended by the upcoming season. i think the people that say they are offended are just looking for something to complain about. i don't complain about the channel BET and say that it's racist. it is so stupid. when it comes down to it, it is a tv show and those who don't want to watch it can easily change the channel.

No, I'm not offended at all - I think it's great that they've come up with a new twist - have you seen the contestants??? Thinkin I'm rooting for Jessica!
But why should it matter to the fans - when obviously it doesn't bother the competitors????

My husband and I are faithful watchers. I am not offended by the new idea. I personally hope it teaches America that all people can get along and work as a team. I am tired of all the racist hoopla.
