Some addition to shion_1072's post: N80 does accept up to 2G MiniSD card. SanDisk, for instance, lists that:

http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Compatibility/MobileCompatibility_2GB_072806.pdf

But your mileage may vary. Stick to the name brands.

Also, it is best not to use the main memory of the phone for storing MP3s, since it is also used for running applications. Some applications use a lot of memroy like J2ME apps or the builtin browser or Opera Mobile/Mini. Low main memory sometimes causes apps to crash and close.

I suggest you to keep watching for deals on memory cards, or in this case, MiniSD cards. I always watch http://www.pricegrabber.com, and I got my Kingston 1GB MiniSD card for less than $10 after rebate and $15 coupon for applying buy.com credit card.

Hope this helps!

Well with no memory card, the internal memory is about 40mb which is enough for 8 mp3s at 5mb

The average number of songs on an 'album' is about12 songs so its not quite a cd

With a 256mb card you could get about 50 or 4 albums
512 mb... 100 or 8 albums
1 gig... 200 or 16 albums
2 gig... 400 or 32 albums

Some people have had problems getting 2gig memory cards working in their n80's (Nokia says it supports up to 1gig)

That depends on how much memory there is...
