Don't attack them!! They are just innocent animals trying to defend themselves. Steve probably died becasue he got too close to them.

Because they are stupid, irresponsible jerks who presumable think that by killing an Innocent sting ray they can in some way get closure for the loss of someone they loved ? How can they claim to be nature lovers and then react in this way ? if the followed Steve Irwin and agreed with his idea's then they would surely not be doing this and Steve Irwin would be horrified to think that this was happening because he had made a simple error of judgement.

Nobody that I know of is attacking the stingrays. I always had a feeling Steve would meet his demise doing what he loved to do. He was very brave and a risk taker. It was a bull ray and they are very agressive. He just got hit in the wrong spot.

I know its a bit diorinataed to do it, they were doing what any other animal would do if they thought it was under threat or attack! Still I see their points and views but its not fair, i do think that Steve Irwin was a great guy but he died doing what he loved....get on with it, accept; its never going to bring him back!

Stingrays don't kill. He was only the second person in the world to have died. He got stung in the heart-- it was very bad luck thats all. Not the fact that he died but where he got attacked.
People should leave well alone, it was a tragic accident

Because they think they really liked Steve Irwin and that they are his biggest fans, in reality they are doing something Steve Irwin would hate and he would be ashamed of these people. He knew he always put himself in danger and that it was never the animals fault if it felt it had to protect itself. These people are idiots.

WTH??.....Steve was the one who got close to the stingray, not the other way around. The stingray was pretty much minding its own business until Steve thought it was a good idea to toy around with a poisonous animal and got killed for that.

because they are ignorant. stingrays don't attack people unless they are provoked. Steve Erwin seemed to bring out the worst in animals and one caught up with him. A fluke accident. People don't need to go attacking stingrays because of it. They re animals drawn on instincts. When one seemed threatened it attacks. Maybe those idiots attacking them will get killed too!!

They are doing it as a 'revenge thing'. Sick indivuduals.
However Steve didn't get too close, it was on the coroners report and the proof was in the video.

Because they are...........idiots!!!!
Steve most likely died due to the position of where he got stung rather than the sting itself as the venom is not known to be fatal - it was a FREAK ACCIDENT
any attack on an animal is a disgrace
