My spirit guide is named Demitria, [Demi for short] and she's been with me for about 26 years or so, now. While she gives good advice and has always been a positive and helpful influence on my life, occasionally speaking through me, she rarely does anything particularly spectacular, especially in respect to affecting the physical plain, which is why this story stands out to me.

My friends and I had gone to Mt. Lasan, to see the Persiad meteor shower. The day was looking very overcast and we were quite concerned that we'd not get to see anything, with the cover being so thick. Demi offered to "do something about it". Shortly afterward a wind picked up from out of nowhere. The rangers were quite surprised, as there was no such wind predicted, and as one ranger said, there was never wind from that particular direction during that time of year, it Always came from another direction. [this comment caused the equivelent of a mental chuckle from Demi - who had always told me that she was very "wind oriented" in her nature]. By the time the Persiads were due, the sky was completely 100% cloudless and emmaculately clear.

Now granted, there could be other explanations for this, I'm not claiming otherwise - but it's still one of my most interesting stories about my spirit guide.

My spirit guide is called Darlene. She was my beloved sisiter who died in 1989 of bone cancer at the age of 31. For years since her death I have the same recurring dream about her. I feel she visits me in my dreams which may or may not make sense to some. However, I feel also that I not only have one guide, my mother is another. They have encouraged me to surrender and release my ego based self and understand that the world we live in is merely a blink of an eye compared to what lies beyond this 3 D world. This world is about spiritual beings having a human experience. Don't take life seriously, it is too mysterious.

My spirit guide is my Great Great Grandfather. I am only to call him Grandfather though. He is a cherokee man, full of knowledge. He has helped me through incredibly rough periods of my life. Reminding me that I have a purpose and that if I hold me head high and live a good life, good things will happen. He has also protected me from some very scary situations. I first met him when I was 4. I crushed my right arm and I was going in and out of shock during transport to the hospital until they got me stabilized. I remember him being in the vehicle with me, holding my other arm telling me that I'd be ok. I didn't know who the man was with me, and my mother swore there was not another man with us other than the paramedics. I described him to her and she knew who he was. He is my Great Great Grandfather from my father's side. I have had many encounters with him in my life.

I pray that each person is able to meet their spirit guide. :)

My spirit guide, who prefers to remain nameless, told a friend of my husband's, through my mouth, to see another doctor because she did not have MS (she was in a wheelchair) she had inflammation of the spine. I don't remember telling this woman that, all I remember is talking to her about the Judge Judy show. She did see another doctor and is now in physical therapy, on steroids, out of pain and can stand for the first time in years.

I consider my guide to be my met tet (master of my head). I practice Vodou and everyone has a lwa that has chosen to watch over them. My met tet helps me everyday by keeping me safe and helping me in my life whenever it is asked. I do not have a specific incidence about the help. We walk together everyday. I would rather not say who they are because it is a very personal, intimate relationship I have with them. When you have a relationship with them it is a blessing in so many ways.

Shamans in specific area of the worldwide have as many classes as happens, in different areas you will have a million and in different back 7... relies upon to what cultural custom you persist with. My very own theory is that we've one primary instruction manual, yet do meet many others as our course grows and it turns into needed or precise to fulfill even different ones which would be with you in basic terms for a on a similar time as, on a similar time as the single that is relatively yours remains continually there...
