A Yahoo search for "mouse control" (include the quotation marks in the search box) yields 578,000 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly find the information you seek.

Good luck with your search.

Please do not murder a mouse, seriously. I mean yes the mouse to an extent could be "trespassing" but think for a moment what horrible things man has done to mice in labs over and over time... feel sorry for teh mouse to an extent, but hear this you still have the issue of getting teh mouse out of your house, so really consider and USE those "non-murder" traps... they have traps that you can put a little peanut butter in teh back of and then teh mouse goes in and the little shutter door comes down and well you can then go out and release teh mouse in a nearbuy forested area or something,,,you know what I mean? think Compassion.. hope

you are not paranoid i am the same as you as the house next door have found mice droppings you need to set a trap you can get these at the DIYstore if you dint want to trap the mouse you will have to buy poison the only thing i can say is if you have seen one mouse it is very poss that there are more as thy live as a family poison is the only way to make sure that you have got them all as the adult mouse takes the poison back to the nest and thy all eat it and die

Mousetrap bait with peanut butter
humane mouse trap with peanut butter
or a bottle with small entrance propped up slightly so mouse can escape...with peanut butter at the bottom

You could try electric plug in repellants that send out a sonic noise...worked for my moles in the garden, but the house one hasn't done much for spiders.

There are sticky traps and also there is a rat poison that dries them out. An extreminator stated that they will leave the house to look for a water source.

There are all kinds of traps you can get. Everything from a kill trap to a non-kill trap. It all depends on what you want.
