You didn't turn the keys

Your keys aren't in the ignition

Safety feature, your kick stand is down

Your bike DOES start, but someone else has it

Ain't got no gas, umm-hmmm

It could be a dead battery, blown fuse, bad starter, no fuel, no spark, bad gas, carburetor needs adjustment, clogged fuel filter, who knows. Any number of things. Check the obvious things first. Take it to a good mechanic. Good luck.

Perhaps you have flooded the engine and the spark-plug is wet.
Give it 20 minutes then try again, or try starting it with the throttle wide open, or you could try push-starting it.
