I have to complete the outline with three main points and citation on each so I can make a reference page too. I just can't find a topic to do it on. I am stuck. Please help!!

The first informative essay I had to write in English 101 was titled:
"How to Mail a Can of Boiled Peanuts to Your Friend in Ohio".
I knew how to do it from experience selling on Ebay. Pick something that you know how to do and write it in 3rd person. It is easier to write about something you know about. Citations can be found on the web anywhere in the subject area. Just type in the subject and pick one. Good Luck!

A subject of your interest would be easiest (hobbies, etc). My personal choice would be gardening because of the ease of research and unlimited potential for variety.
