Love the Irish accent. Although the Scottish is pretty good too. Definately on men.

The Irish lilt can be understood by Americans. The Scottish accent, especially the Edinburgh variety, is still a mystery to people from such places like London, Liverpool or Nova Scotia. I love the Scotts, but give me the Irish for a get together.

There is no such thing as "the" Irish accent. There are 4 distinct ones, Munster, Ulster, Dublin/the Pale and Hiberno English. Which one are you talking about?
I myself like the Scottish accent in both men and women, even if it's "Glasga"

I have an Irish family, a Scottish accent. I live in London and work in USA sometimes. I am always understood. :)

I'm Scottish and I love both the Irish and Scottish accent, they are quite similar, we also use a lot of the same words and phrases, and we also both speak Gealic.

I've been exposed to both accents and I'll have to go with the Scottish one...sounds more formal and refined.
Preferably men of course.
