With all the financial worries, which by the way I have a great paying job and three children that I want to support I still cannot make ends meet. Downsize your probably thinking well If I downside anymore I will be in trouble. You say find another job well I am working on it but why should I work 80 hours a week when my sons father lives with his dad and pays no rent and works a 40 hour week?

I am sure you are going through a difficult time, especially when you have to worry about 3 children. I would suggest to find ways to "penny pinch" its a term to being extremely frugal. Cancel the cable or satelitte (its not a neccessity to live by), don't leave the lights on during the day, use coupons, plan your meals out in advance and go through the sale paper of the grocery store. Buy things in bulk that you will use. Shop @ 2nd hand stores. If you don't need it, then don't buy it. Needless to say I have been in that situation prior and had to find ways to save to get out of it. Also once the credit cards are paid off.. don't use them unless its a emergency. Pay cash.

Make appointment to see a financial counselor .. make a budget, stick to it! Call creditors and explain your situation - make a payment plan with them. If your not getting child support and/are separated from the father - take him to court to seek child support.

Good luck and I hope things get better

I couldn't agree with you more, is your sons father paying child support if not he should be..But I agree why should people have to work 80 hrs. a week to make it ..I think they should raise the amount of money people make a few dollars , besides by the time they take out all the deductions you don't get almost a half of what you make..It's no wonder people tire out at a younger age they have to work their self to death when their young..

We should really start a club for this. My ex lives with his best friend and pays no or very little rent and just started paying support because they started garnishing his wages. Let's string up all of the dead beat dads........my biggest issue with them, besides the hell they put us through, is the fact that they are ruining it for the men who do care about and for their kids. There are men that are caring about and for kids that aren't even theirs! Some men just make them all look bad, and I am sick of it!!! Let's get them all in one spot and do like the old days and string em up!!!!

Budget with the money you have and make it work. You cant spend more than you receive. You arent the federal government.
