What you want to do is to be able to STREAM your video. Only some hosting providers will let you do this!

Maybe you should consider making your video files as MOV (quicktime) as its the most common streaming video format!

Import them into Macromedia Flash and publish them out as .swf files. You can adjust settings to compress them into much smaller sizes.
