Its been a year and i have fallen in love with my boyfriends father. I cant stand being in his house because i have to be with him and i only get to look at his dad when he isnt around. I been hiding this for a while and decided to tell my boyfriend and his dad the truth. How should so my boyfriend doesnt get hurt and i get to be with his dad...?

First off, this is a no-win situation, so you're better off just leaving the boyfriend. Why do I say that? I'll tell you why...

#1- There's no way to tell your boyfriend this and NOT hurt him. Simply breaking up with him will hurt enough. But if you break up with him in an attempt to get with his father, that will crush him.

#2- Even if there is a way to "swap"- break up w/the boyfriend and get with the father, what kind of man would the father be to participate? Can you imagine a father "hooking up" with his own SON's girlfriend? He'd have to be a completely heartless loser! Is that what you want?

Speaking of heartless losers- That is exactly what this story makes you sound like. This may sound a bit basic, but remember this rule: NEVER DATE YOUR EX's FATHER...OR BROTHER...OR BEST FRIEND...OR FRIEND...OR COUSIN...OR ANYONE THAT HE IS CLOSE TO!

You cant - hes your boyfriends Dad and even if you dump the BF he will still be his Dad and he wouldnt do that to his Son - well no decent parent would - perhaps you see him as a father figure in some ways and are mistaking this with infatuation - I would stick with your boyfriend if this is the only other person you have a crush on since you have been with him ? and remember in years to come if your still with him he may end up looking like his Dad ! You risk losing your BF, embarassing yourself as well if you say anything so move on from it .

in the end u will loose the battle. don't forget that most families stick together even if it ain't in the beginning. and then u will be stuck with nothing but shame. if u do ,do it be prepared to be looked down whenever there r family events and what have u. some people just have to learn their lessons by going through their mistakes instead of taking advise from others. good luck!!

i think that you need to just walk away from the whole family and not tell them about the love you have for your boyfriends father. i dont think you should stay with your boyfriend or end up with his dad because both relationships will be unfair. it will be unfair to your boyfriend if you stay with him because you dont really love him if you love his father and if you end up with his dad it will be unfair because you will hurt his son and his mum is she is in the picture.

Sounds weird! No mother or wife around?? Ask yourself why are you attracted to the father? Certain qualities?? or what?
I wouldn't say anything to the father or son. Time to move on and find someone else your own age.
