He's the surviving rat from the movie, "Willard". A movie about a loner who's pet rats attack and kill anyone who pisses him off!

He was a mouse that used to live in their kitchen when Michael was a little boy. Michael adopted him as his pet. His father set a mouse trap and killed Ben.

It was a rat which was the closest thing he had to a friend cause his father never let him be a normal child, then his father killed him! Poor Michael!!
