Looking for resources on how to build a business plan. I need something really specific to the (payroll) outsourcing business - like a project road map for such undertaking.

After you set up your company, you may need to do EDI processing with the banks. If you do, then you can try this outsource company located in NJ.

Go and see your local enterprise company. They have small business advisors who will have access to templates for this.

Once you've seen how it is done you will realise it isn't difficult to do IF you have done your market research, established there is a requirement for your service and also got proof of the amount you can charge and how much it will cost you to provide the service.

I assume you have a really good knowledge of the PAYE and NI systems (including benefits in kind) and you have also checked the cost of professional indemnity insurance which is a must.
