\Every 9/11 conspiracy theory we investigated was based on similarly shoddy evidence. Most of these falsehoods are easy to refute simply by checking the original source material or talking to experts in the relevant fields. And yet even the flimsiest claims are repeated constantly in conspiracy circles, passed from Web site to book to Web site in an endless daisy chain. And any witness, expert - or publication - that tries to set the record straight is immediately vilified as being part of the conspiracy.

The American public has every right to ask hard questions about 9/11. And informed skepticism about government and media can be healthy. But skepticism needs to be based on facts, not fallacies. Unfortunately, for all too many, conspiratorial fantasies offer a seductive alternative to grappling with the hard realities of a post-9/11 world.

Certainly not. But it can be argued that both the Clinton and Bush administrations ignored evidence that such an attack was imminent. Once it had occurred, however, the Bush administration (not just Bush, but particularly Cheney, Perle, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld) seem to have used it as an excuse to attack Iraq, despite there being no evidence whatsoever of a link between Iraq and Al-Qaida. The attack on Afghanistan was also botched.

A high percentage of US citizens polled still think Saddam was somehow responsible for 9/11, so the tactic worked. Taking care of daddy's unfinished business? Who knows...

I do not believe that George Bush set up the 9-11 attack. It would be unthinkable for him to do something like this. He isn't evil no matter how much that you may dislike him. He believes in God and he (Bush) is a born again Christian. Even if you don't believe that he is a born again Christian, George Bush loves this country and he loves Americans. He would never think of doing such a thing. I am surprised that anyone would think that he would.

look at the facts..bush knew weeks in advance the 9/11 "attack" was going to happen yet he did nothing...when asked in a public speech what Al Qaeda or whoever it was had to do with 9/11 and bush himself said "nothing" those were his exact words i saw the interview myself. also on a personal level i could give a f*ck less about the 9/11 "attack" but to those of you who lost a loved one in it im sorry but other than that i dont really care about it, they say "9/11 the day we will never forget" well damn maybe if you shut up about it we could! ever think of that?

If you are the president, will you order to kill more than 3000 people? Why would Pres. Bush send troops out there to hunt and capture terrorist suspects? Wake up, did someone endoctrinated radical ideas or brainwashed you?

No.

Why? Because there is not a scintilla of actual evidence that he did.

Only the paranoid rantings of the lunatic fringe.

No! Because no matter how much you dislike the guy, he isn't evil. Come on people...seriously, the guy may not do things we agree with, but setting up the murder of thousands of his own people is not one of his sins.

No, he didn't set it up. The worst you can say is that he knew it was coming but let it happen on purpose so he could go to war. But, he and his cronies are not smart enough to carry out this attack.
