If you can unplug the key board then do so and put it under running water (90% of the time this is safe, after all there is coffee in it how much worse will water be).
After rinsing it out leave it upside down on a towel for a few hours. Flip it over, shake it out, and put it upside down again until it is dry.

I hope the coffee did'nt get through the keyboard. It's a dicey
job cleaning it. You can just wipe it clean with a wet towel on
the surface and after that if it's working, then it's okay.

Unplug it QUICK from the PC - you do NOT want to have an electrical short and fry your PC.

Don't assume you got it all out because you can't see any more coffee, remember, it's now UNDER the keys too. It will dry and if there's sugar it will cause the keys to stick.

Believe it or not you can run the keyboard under HOT WATER for a couple of minutes to flush it out. Let it dry for at least TWO DAYS and you should be good to go. I've done this on at least a dozen keyboards at work and it's always helped. Plus you'd be suprised at how much crud it flushes out from under the keys.

i just spry mine with some cleaner (a mist) and scrub it with a scrub brush

if its just black coffee it'll be alright

if it had cream and sugar you are gonna have some keys that don't work

happy keyboard shopping!
