think of the persons life rather than dwelling on their death,when my gma died i mad a collage of her life and hung it near her ashes during the presits spech.

tell them about the good things that this person did and what they enjoyed doing and how they made you feel try to keep all the negatives out and dont exagerate or go overboard if you know what i mean i believe mostly all people in the world have beauty inside them It will come together and sometimes simple is more and better than writing too much youll figure it out cc

You knew the person that past..talk about that person as you would to a friend...obviously this person was bright and beautiful! Death..its going to happen to all of us, but death isnt all that person offered to all that knew him/her..perk it up by adding a favorite saying that person said...and remember death isnt all dark and gloomy its a rite"of passage" and if your a believer his/her passing should rest on you soul because you will see that person again.

By being creative and talking a lot about the joy and spark that person brought to every ones life.

Concentrate on the great things they did in their life. You know something like they always had a smile on their face and willing to help anyone in a pinch. Make it a celebration of their live.

list the things that the individual is proud of or is known for accomplishing. rather than "member of garden club" say "is known for her yellow roses that she gave to friends" along that line ... "taught piano to small children", .. "always there with a cheery word to her friends" ... "a delightful smile for everyone", etc

concentrate/enhance their good qualities/deeds,how valued/loved they are.involve and include their loved ones
genuine,simple,heartfelt messages (like narrating instances which would bring a smile to ones face)
