That is up to one's individual tastes. I would say that the UK has produced a lot of really good rock bands and so has the USA. America also produces the best country/western music. There are many countries that produce great symphonic, classical, and opera music... many of these countries being in Europe. USA, Australia, Canada, and the UK produce the best Contemporary Christian music there is. So it really depends on what type of music you are interested in.

It depends on what you consider to be "best" and which genre you are considering. All countries play a big part in the music industry and many artists from the US and UK have been influenced by other countries or inspired by them when writing music. Diversity is a wonderful thing, so i wouldn't say that any country "in the world" would be best, but i think all countries together contribute to make music wonderful, modern fresh and inspirational.

The term "Best Music" is impossible to define. Your best music will be completely different to my best music.
But to answer your question, I would choose Brazil. Musicians there produce so much wonderful and different music. Most of it very original and copied all over the world. Samba, bossa Nova, Forro, frevo. Everything has it's own rhythm and feel for melody and everywhere you go, people are enjoying some kind of music.
And still they can play everything else. Brazilians and Brazil produces the best music to my ears.

England - Just look at the line up.
USA are a close second as some of their singers are very good but I personally feel the music dosn't change a great deal. All sound the same sorta thing little variation in styles.
I'm talking the mainstream here btw.

I would say that the best music made in the world, would have to be in England. I really like most of the artists from the UK. (George Michael, Queen, Elton John and so on)

The UK without a doubt. But then again saying that, my brother recently spent 4 months in the states and has returned with some pretty cool Cds of bands that are unknown to the UK.
