The NY Yankees and the NY Giants shared the Polo Grounds with the Giants being the owners and the Yankees being the tenants. The Polo Grounds were located on the Manhattan side of the Harlem River directly across from where Yankee Stadium now stands. In 1921 the Giants told the Yankees that they were not going to renew their lease and that they should look for a new home ASAP. They did It's called Yankee Stadium and was opened 4/18/23
The Giants would continue to play in the Polo Grounds until they left NY in 1957.
"The catch " by Willie Mays against Vic Wertz in the 1954 World Series happened at the Polo Grounds

because its the best borough in NY hey at least it's not Staten Island or Queens lol.Besides they have a better subway line the Lexington Ave 4 train.
