Yes JESUS is alive spiritually and one day he would return back to this earth but neither do Jesus know when the time or hour would be. So it is up to us as individual to confess and accept him into our hearts, and be ready when he return. Because every knee should bow and every tongue shall confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!!!!!!!SO BE READY!!!!!!. He lives in those people who wants him to live within their spirits if he if their you would see from how that person lives his or her life. That is why we are to live Christ like, because of course we can not be Jesus but we could try to be more like him, because he was perfect and we are not...that is where the Christ like come from....and yes he lives in my soul and every other person soul that has accepted him......

Why did the emperor back than mess up the evidence and said his disciples emptied the tomb, because the soldiers he had posted, ran after figuring out He had gone.

Physically no, but spiritually yes. Many believers have kept him alive.
It is in Human nature and a human need to believe that there is something higher and much bigger then us.
