I have a winch, a spare tire and a shovel. There are no trees or large rocks.

Dig a hole, attach the winch cable to the spare tire, bury the tire, and winch yourself out.

Anything else I can clear up for you?

If it's sand, you will have to do a lot of digging. You will have to dig "ramps" in front of all four tires, then dig under the vehicle so that the differential(s) have a clear path. Then you'll need to reduce the air pressure in the tires to about 20psi. This is called "bagging" the tires. If you have 4 wheel drive, make sure that it's engaged and the hubs are locked. Then get in the vehicle, start it up and put it in a low forwar gear. Ease out a little at a time and stop if the tires spin. When you can't get any more forward progress, try reversing until you stop, then forward again. Sometimes you can "rock" back and forth until you get some momentum. When you get free, try not to punch the accelerator to keep the tires from spinning. If none of this works, pull out your cell phone and call someone with a tractor or bulldozer or something.

I am guessing in the desert with no large rocks you are stuck in the sand. You could use the shovel to dig a hole and put the spare tire in the hole as an anchor for winching.
