In 2000 I had a complete Hysto. for endo. Last week i had to under go a lazer lap again because the endo had come back.. during the surgery the doctor, the same one that preformed my hysto. found that my intestines had been attached to my vaginal wall, he said he was able to cut them free with no problems... i am very worried about this and am thinking of getting a second opinion.

(I have to have the Larposcopy done two weeks from today. This is my first surgery and I am so nervous.) I have heard of that happening before. Don't worry, it sounds like you have a good doctor. I'm sure if you were going to have a future problems he would have told you about it. You will be fine. Hope I will be too.

My best friend, my sister-in-law and I too have endo. I feel for you. I know what a debilitating disease it can be, and I'm so sorry that you have had to go through so much.

I'm also sorry about that STUPID comment posted first by that idiot. Some people are complete ar$ehole$. I'm sorry you had to read that.

It is usually adhesion's that cause internal organs to get attached to other parts of the body. They can be caused by surgery or caused by the endo itself.

This is an awesome link that I know you'll find helpful http://www.endometriosis.org/adhesions.html

Wishing you lots of luck hon, contact me if you need to.

OH MY, I've never heard of that. I do know when you have a hysto that they attach your bladder to your intestines to keep it from dropping and having bladder problems, but i've never heard that one before. I would definately get a second opinion.

It could have been Vaginal Vault Prolapse. Sounds like they corrected it .As long as you don't have any discomfort,no need to worry.
