I think it's more to do with the nation's sense of humour than it's musical taste. After all, the song is only a joke, just like 'the Hoff'. The only person who takes him seriously is himself.

I think that the music culture is dominated by the morons who bay all the crap on the market that is why their is so many shite no.1. No one seems to be interested in musicians that can write and sing their own work. Most people bay their way in to the charts screwing up the industry for other honest people.

very few people wiv decent music taste buy music nemre and speacially nt singles therefore most of the charts is made up by preteens spendin der pocket moey on singles
