Difficult one...in an ideal world there would be no lies or immoral behaviour...but in reality......well, sometimes we dont need to know every thing about each other. Serious, family, health issues, no, you cant lie, be as honest as you can, where you went after work with the girls for an hour, how much you paid for those new shoes, etc, are acceptable...to me anyway.

yes and no depends on the lie if its alittle white lie
or if it was something from many years ago or before you met him/her then i dont see the harm
but if its
like do you like my new hand bag it was only £10 when really it was £15 yes
but if it is serious like i am having an affair or i kissed someone else or hey your kids not yours then no i dont think it is right to lie as in the long run it will always come out and how would you feel if it was done to you thats how i look at it.
i have been married for 14 years and i have always been as honest as possible with my husband appart from when i go shopping lol.i always think how would i feel if he hide that from me .
hope this helps

It depends really, if it is a little white lie that you are keeping to protect your partner then i think it's fine, however if it is a big lie such as you have cheated etc then i think you should tell your partner, just think about it and decide how you would feel if your partner kept such a lie from you and you will get your answer.

Lies are never beneficial even when it seams as a best option sometimes. It's not hard to be honest no matter what, but it does need a little bit of practise and courage, but it's worth it because you can be yourself then. If you are lieing you are pretending to be something you are not, no matter how small things are in matter.

It depends what the lie is. If it's major and is going to make a difference to their life then you should never lie. If it's a trivial thing like how much you spent on something then I think is ok to say it cost less if it's going to cause a major row otherwise.

there are definitely times when lying to your partner is probably the best thing to do to save their feelings, for example does my ar*se look big in this? also when they ask about your true feelings for ex's you can't exactly say they were better than you in the sack, I loved them way more than I'll ever love you but you're the one thats come closest since and I'll never get them back so you're my best bet. Probably best to lie and tell them you love them more than you've ever loved anyone!

it depends on the lie. if its a little white lie that wouldnt hurt his pride then maybe.
if its something big then id tell him.
i normally tell my boyfriend the whole truth. if im honest then hes honest and everyones happy.
the truth can hurt sometimes but its better that way. lies hurt even more....

It depends what we are talking about. In general don't lie, but if perhaps he has to have some medical treatment that you know is going to hurt, don't tell him in advance he will just get tensed up and it will make things worse.
