I have moved unwanted xp and intel inside stickers from my laptop.
If they are anywhere near the keypad or any socket, cd tray etc.. cover these up! Mine were on the front where your palms sit when typing.
Unplug and turn off laptop
Wrap cling film over keypad and any vent or socket near to them
Wrap clingfilm over screen area
Then cover every thing apart from the sticker area with a cloth, tea towel etc..
Stand the laptop up with the stickers at the highest point
Boil a kettle and use the steam to soften the glue make sure no water enters anywhere! keep wiping dry, keep boiling until you can start to peel a corner up.
If the sticker comes off easy great.
If it leaves glue behind just use some lighter fluid or meths on some tissue to remove.
Take care doing this and you will be fine and have a nice sticker free laptop.
Regards

Peel as much of the sticker off as you can, and then rub the glue residue with baking soda. It has fine abrasive qualities, so don't use it on the screen.

The best way is to heat them up with a hairdryer, softening the glue underneath, then peeling it off.
They should come off easily but then you will need to remove the glue residue if any if left.

I would try to peel them off best I could with my finger nail, then use rubbing alcohol on a cloth to remove the rest.

Warm them up with a hair dryer and gently peel them off.
If adhesive residue remains on your PC, clean it off with either Alcohol, or Naptha (lighter fluid).

You can use sugar cubes to remove certain pesky stickers. There is a nice tutorial with pictures here : http://www.instructables.com/id/EFHU5V6TKYERIE2SMP/?ALLSTEPS
