It feels pretty good. And the best part is that, after getting that degree, statistics show that you will earn more, on average, than the poor bloke who is working hard with no college degree.

Define work hard. Do you mean physically, like manual labor, or work hard in as put a lot of hours in and never take a break. And the bigger question is why shouldn't you have work hard, regardless of your education?

I would say use the education to start a business. It will be hard work but very gratifying. Plus you will earn more than what a boss could ever pay you.

It's depressing - you get out of school thinking you are going to set the world on fire - and reality sets in - work, home, bills, etc. but when your career starts to move, things get much better.
