Try using Pumpkin Masters. We went to a party a few years ago where they had the templates. You just poke holes using the design and then carve it along the dots! It was a lot of fun!!

Use floral picks and wires to stick various attachments on (glittery leaves are a good addition) or use paint or markers to draw on them.
