who knows ?

david attenborough is a nature conservationist and he is 80 isnt he?

if you are a nature conservationist doest mean you are going to die soon... the guy was unlucky - he spends day in and day out with animals and reptiles - it was his life -he loved doing that - he has done many dangerous things but he got unlucky and startled the stingray which i am sure he knew he shouldnt have (if he knew the stingray is there)

have you seen his programs ? the guy LOVED working with animals ... he was crazy about his 'job'

is a longer life better ? if you are not happy doing what you are doing ? i dont think so

:)

Not necessarily.

At age 44 he'd have retired from football and if he'd pursued his interest in zoology after quitting the game he may well have found himself in the same unfortunate situation as he did.

I haven't heard of too many football players getting attacked by stingrays, right enough.

Why a football player? Not an orthonologist or a ventriloquist?

And if the car hadn't been invented, nobody would have died in car accidents and if planes hadn't been invented, the twin towers in New York would still be standing. Any more of such questions?

Steve Irwin was one of my heros. That man was crazy, but had character, courage, humanity, and compassion. It's horribly ironic. He had finally stopped doing really dangerous things and was doing a pretty tame documentary. I will remember him forever.

Not if he went swimming and got stung by a stingray, it was an accident that could have happened to anyone who goes diving.
