when i got the fossils, its a dead end already, wheres the way??

skye is right, you didn't mention what game, gen-1 (r/b/y) or gen-2 (g/s/c)
however, in both games, you go up a little bit then left, and the doorway out is DOWN, just like leaving a house.

In Mt. Moon there should be a path beyond the fossils that leads to the exit--eventually, in one of the larger rooms there is a door in the bottom right corner of the cavern that leads to the exit.
I'm afraid I haven't been through Mt. Moon in a while, but I can recommend gamefaqs.com for a walk-through or gamewinners.com for hints and cheats. Once you get out of Mt. Moon you'll realize how easy the path is, but it is also easy to get frustrated there. Also, you can email me if you need more info. Good luck!
