The best exercises for a healthy life style are ones that you enjoy, that fits into your life style that doesn't cause injury and doesn't make you bored.
So increasing the amoung of walking you do in a day will help you lose weight and if you keep walking a little bit it will keep it off, even just walking ten minutes a day can help.
Think about what you like - team games, working out on your own, dancing, etc.
IF the only reason you do the sport is because you want to loose weight and you don't enjoy it you won't stick at it and you won't enjoy doing it.
Personally i like going to the Gym i find it very relaxing but you have to find a nice one that isn't intimidating - i prefer women only ones. They tend to be full of women of all sizes trying to be healthy rather than size 0 women.
Having a healthy program about weightloss isn't just about doing an exercise that burns the most calories in the lease amount of time, its about enjoying yourself, being fit and having more energy to enjoy life.
Good luck and don't be afraid to try a new exercise a week till you know what you like.

I'll give u simple procedure 2 follow 4 a week or 2 dat will make u reduce weight instantly but make sure u follow it strictly or else it will b a big blunder mind u.Wat u hav 2 do is jst stay away 4rm salt n sugar 4 a week or 2 n c da difference 4 urself.I bet u u'll get da desired results.B faithful if u wanna c da difference.

the best exercise is something fun. something u like to do. because if ur not motivated to do the exercise,you'd hardly do it.
find something u like to do there are lots of options: walking, jogging, running, swimming, dancing alone in ur room for hours to 80s music:) etc. cause the key is consistency. the more u like doing something the more u will do it and the more effective the exercise will be:)
remember, part of being healthy is having a healthy mind too. if you have fun while reducing weight you'll feel better too.

Walking is the best excercise you can get, or swimming, but walking is the big one to do!!

jogging then running will help lose weight the best. Also any kind of weight training will give your body more lean muscle which in turn burns more fat even when you are relaxing. working a specific area of your body does not necaserally burn the fat in that region. Muscle anywhere will burn fat anywhere. Do not starve yourself because your body burns muscle for energy too.

I agree that sex and swimming are good cuz you tend to do them longer because you actually want to be there as opposed to when you run on the treadmill, but any good cardio that involves several muscle groups is good. You have to watch your diet as well though

for me it is drinking plenty of water and taking long, fast-paced walks...mixed in with some form of aerobics, but walking generally. it will not be the same for everyone, since your metabolism will not be the same as my own. therefore, i can only suggest eating plenty of fruit and vegetables (organic if possible, never canned) and drinking plenty of water (try to stay away from sodas, beer especially, and other drinks that do not help to cleanse the system or rehydrate it)...and lots of walking......

a mixture of cardio and toning excercises. thats what i do and i've lost a little, gotta watch the diet tho
