I have the same problem.
Two things you can do to help it.
1. Run the blower only of the air conditioner about a half hour each day. This clears the dust out of the air and makes breathing easier.
2. Use a damp cloth instead of a dry cloth to dust, or use a cloth made of flannel. The flannel picks up the dust, not just push it around.
Watch the commercial for Oreck vaccuum cleaners. They use bags and when you change the bag, it closes itself up as you pull it out. There is no dust cloud. If you have a bagless vaccuum, get rid of it.
One more thing, MMM Company makes air filters that have varying degrees of filtering ability. They are called Filtrete. I purchase mine from Filters-Now.com.

Most of the common house dust is actually human skin. Have everyone exfoliate daily. Remove shoes at the door to keep from tracking in outside dust and particles.
You might have to also change air purifiers. And the dogs shead dander too. Giving the pooch a bath and rubbing some lotion onto it will help reduce a lil bit.

I think you live in a place with dusty surroundings. There's
plenty of dust in the air and it keeps coming in although you
don't open the windows. No matter how hard you try to clean
up inside the house, there will be dust every where.
Try, once in the morning and afternoon every day, to 'wet or shower' with a garden hose at the outdoor compound of the house to 'trap' dust particles in the air. This might reduce it.

Wow! I would hate that!!
Since you are changing the air filters, make sure you're getting them all. Also, stick the vacuum attachment in the AC/Heat vents on the floor or wall or ceiling (wherever they are located) and get the residual dust from there.
Also, make sure you change your vacuum bag frequently so you're not just pushing around old dust.
Best of Luck!

I quit dusting regularily, it is all consuming.
It's the dog fault (or at least I blame mine). They bring in dust from outside and whirl it around in the house when they come in. Nothing works, just throw up your white flag and live in peice with the dust.

Alot of depends on your neighborhood. Are they constructing new homes nearby? Street work? Factory? City traffic? Dirt Road? I would suggest an air cleaner, it works for me. They're not cheap (don't get a cheap one, they won't help you). If the dust is on your furniture, then it is in your lungs first (nice thought, eh?). They also sell air cleaners that work in conjunction with your furnace & central air...check with your heating company. (If this doesn't help, I LOVE Swiffer dusters) Good Luck!

the problem might be in your neighbourhood, or your surronding area, it could be dusty and whenever wind blows, it move particles into your house, look for air leakages in windows, doors or the attic (if you have one), or plant something outside your door... :)

Could be that your ceilings were installed incorrectly or are of inferior quality.
Good luck. I hope you find the problem soon.
